Summer Term starts with a bang in Year Three!

In English, we begin by taking a trip down the rabbit hole with Alice - we'll find out more about the crazy characters that she meets as well as whether she manages to avoid her head being chopped off by the Red Queen! After that, we will take a trip to the magical lands of Ever Dark! Discovering more about the inhabitants of the different islands, inventing our own flora and fauna before designing some fantastic tailor-made holidays for the ardent traveller! We will also get to meet Roz, the Wild Robot and her friends! We'll discover more about her amazing journey of discovery before we design her own adventure out in space!

Summer Term also sees us developing our amazing History Detective skills again! We will travel back in time and meet the Ancient Egyptians! We will investigate the importance of the River Nile before 'speed-dating' some amazing Gods and Goddesses! We will meet Howard Carter and put ourselves in his shoes as he discovers a very famous tomb - all of which will be fantastic preparation for our trip to Manchester Museum, where we will get to hold some actual ancient Egyptian artefacts! Will we be able to put our detective skills to great use and decide which artefacts we think are the most important in the Museum's collection?

We continue our brilliant Design and Technology skills by designing some fantastic packaging for a well-known high street store - let's just say this is not just any packaging...!

Finally, we celebrate our amazing year together with our Fantastic Fairway Carnival! We can't wait to share with all our families as we create, sing and dance our way into the summer holidays!
